St. Joseph Legacy Society

When you remember the Catholic Church in East Texas in your will or trust, or make another form of planned gift to the Church, you will become a member of the St. Joseph Legacy Society. Members of the St. Joseph Legacy Society have expressed their commitment to the Church by making a planned gift to the Diocese of Tyler, The East Texas Catholic Foundation or to a Parish in East Texas.

Such gifts might include a bequest , a gift of appreciated securities , gifts of retirement accounts , gifts of life insurance and/or charitable income gifts , such as charitable gift annuities , charitable remainder unitrusts and charitable remainder annuity trusts .

Your membership involves no dues, obligations, or solicitations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the planned gift you have made, and it may inspire generosity in others.

Benefits of membership in the St. Joseph Legacy Society also include invitations to special events, receptions with Bishop Strickland and your name will be engraved on a special plaque at the chancery.

The most important benefit you will receive from joining the St. Joseph Legacy Society is the fulfillment that comes from leaving a lasting legacy that will enable the Catholic Church in East Texas to serve the wants and needs of the Catholic community for many years to come.
